Throughout my years in K-12 education, I watched schools embrace different frameworks to improve teaching and learning.

For many years, Hess-DOK helped teachers focus on the depth of student thinking.

Later, the Danielson Framework became a widely used model for effective teaching and teacher evaluation.

Both frameworks provided valuable guidance. Yet as I worked with educators and schools, I began to notice something missing.

The framework helps schools:
