The C&B Three Integrated Instructional Framework Bringing Together Rigorous Thinking, Effective Teaching, and Holistic Growth Schools today are asked to do more than ever before. Students must think critically, teachers must deliver high-quality instruction, and schools must support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of their communities. The challenge is that these priorities are often addressed separately. The C&B Three Integrated Instructional Framework was created to bring them together. ________________________________________ Where the Idea Began Throughout my years in K-12 education, I watched schools embrace different frameworks to improve teaching and learning. For many years, Hess-DOK helped teachers focus on the depth of student thinking. Later, the Danielson Framework became a widely used model for effective teaching and teacher evaluation. Both frameworks provided valuable guidance. Yet as I worked with educators and schools, I began to notice something missing. The Question That Changed Everything How do we intentionally support the growth and well-being of both students and educators? That question became the foundation of the C&B Three Integrated Instructional Framework. Rather than choosing between student rigor and teacher effectiveness, why not connect both and add a third dimension focused on human growth? ________________________________________ Three Frameworks.
