The Digital Literacy & Educational Technology professional development course is designed to support educators in effectively integrating technology into instruction in ways that enhance student learning, engagement, and digital citizenship. Aligned to the (2017) ISTE Standards for Educators, this course emphasizes intentional technology use that supports instructional goals, promotes equity, and prepares students for success in a digital world. Participants will examine digital literacy concepts, explore instructional technology tools, and apply best practices for selecting and implementing technology that aligns with curriculum standards and learner needs. The course emphasizes practical application, providing educators with strategies and resources that can be immediately implemented in classroom settings. This professional learning experience supports district goals related to instructional effectiveness, student engagement, and responsible technology integration while fostering educator confidence and leadership in technology-rich learning environments.
