Inquiry Based Learning
Inquiry Based Learning is centered around the development of critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in students. It revolves around an essential question and focuses on the process of discovery, allowing students to actively participate in their own learning. This approach differs from Problem-based learning, which involves students solving real-world problems and developing solutions although that too can happen during inquiry process.
Inquiry based learning encourages students to:
Ask questions
Investigate real-world problems
Explore their natural curiosities
Engage in experiential learning and problem-based learning
